This deck is great for street magic since it has such a cool design. The cards are great quality and have an Air Flow finish. The Karnival Assassin deck would be an awesome deck of playing cards for any street magician.

flying card street magic trick

Imagine being able to make a spinning card levitate around your body. This is the effect of the flying card magic trick. What makes this great for street magic is there are no funny props. Just borrow someone’s driver’s license, credit card, id card, library card, etc. and make it fly around in the air. It spins, hovers, and flies through a hoop. If you get good you can even make is float around yourself. Here’s a demonstration of the flying card trick:

The Invisible Deck

One of the best card tricks is the invisible deck. This mentalism effect allows you to predict the thought of card of a spectator. Have someone take an imaginary or invisible deck and pick one card out. They remember the card but tell no one. The magician instructs them to put the card back in the deck but upside down instead of normal. They then shuffle the cards with hand gestures since they don’t really have a deck. Then the invisible deck is placed in the imaginary box. The magician asks for the box of invisible cards back and places them in his pocket. When he places them in his pocket they become real and visible. The magician then pulls the visible deck out of his pocket. He then asks the spectator to name the card they selected. The deck is spread and there is one card face down and the rest are face up. The sole face down card is removed and shown to be the chosen card. This is a great card magic trick! The ivisible deck has consistantly rated as one of the best street magic tricks.

the haunted deck

The haunted pack is a trick where a card is chosen, shuffled into the deck and then cuts itself. Then one card where the deck was cut move out of the deck. It is the chosen card. Street magician cyril performed this illusion on television. He does it standing up and uses the shadows of his hands to manipulate the cards.

pen through dollar bill

O.k. so, the best street magic tricks are the ones where you use ordinary objects. Preferably items you borrow from other people. It just doesn’t seem like real magic if you are using some sort of goofy looking prop. That’s why the pen through dollar bill trick is so great. It’s just a pen and a bill. That’s f-ing it! And the dollar is borrowed. You can even make it seem the pen is borrowed. That’s strong. Borrow someones money, preferably a 20, 50, or 100 dollar bill, and stab the pen through it. At this point you can show the bill around on all sides. It’s clearly through the bill. Rip the pen out and give the money back. Tell them to look at it. No holes, rips, tears, nothing. It’s totally fine. Let them check out the pen. Simple and powerful. Street magic at it’s best! Pen through bill.

scotch and soda coin trick

If you want a coin trick that is perfectly suited for street magic you should get scotch and soda. It’s easy to perform, it resets quickly, and there’s a great variety of tricks you can do with it. Place two coins in spectator’s hand and one of the coins penetrates through their hand. Another magic trick would be to place two coins on a table, a u.s. half dollar and a Mexican twenty centavo. Bring the coins up into the air. Start to rub them together and one completely vanishes. Tell the spectators to look back on the table and there’s the just vanished coin right where it started. Another great street magic coin trick would be to use scotch and soda with a newspaper, sidewalk, and a glass. I’ll explain that one next time.

street magic tricks

Welcome to street magic tricks. Close-up magic is the kind of magic that happens one on one right in front of your face. It’s interactive and imidiate. Street magic is surprising and unexpected. Most people have never seen a real street magician like David Blaine or Criss Angel in real life. Sure they’ve seen them on tv, but that’s not the same. How would you react if a stranger came up to you and showed you something amazing? What is he had you chose a card and shuffled it into the deck, but instead of finding it, you saw the card rising out on its’ own? This is street magic at its’ finest.
